A Rich History of the Best Brews in Town
We opened our door on October 27, 2003; however, our roots go as far back as December 2001, when we purchased the Full Moon Saloon. In between, many changes were made—some subtle, some dramatic, but all with a purpose. We strive to offer our guests the best beverage selection possible in a comfortable, lively setting. We feature two unique atmospheres for your pleasure: the Front Room, where you’ll find vintage décor, couches, and board games, and the Game Room, filled with darts, pool, foosball, and satellite TV. At the center of everything we do is a dedication to providing you with the best craft beers in town.
Focused on Quality
The name Beveridge Place Pub reflects the evolution of our establishment from tavern to alehouse, a comfortable locale that emphasizes quality ales, lagers, ciders, meads, and sake. The word “pub” is short for “public house”, which evokes that home-away-from-home feeling reminiscent of the neighborhood pubs of Great Britain and Ireland. Beveridge Place is the name of the street that runs alongside our pub, and we strive to bring a sense of community to every craft beer and draft beer that we pour for you. With deep roots in Seattle and a dedication to sharing our love of quality brews with you, we felt that it was too much of a coincidence to pass up on this play on words.
A Unique & Eclectic Atmosphere
In April 2008, after a year-long renovation, we moved into our new digs just across Beveridge Place from our original location. While most people remember the building as the former Video Vault, old-timers also talk about the building's original use as a tavern, The White Horse. We brought all the good stuff with us: the back bar, antique furniture, the bowling lane bar top, and, yes, even the bartenders. However, in addition to new craft beers, we wanted to bring a unique flare to our new establishment. New additions include our outdoor seating area christened the “Beveranda,” a fancy walk-in for the kegs, and spacious restrooms (be sure to ask regulars about the old ones).
